Upcycled Furniture, Antiques, and Local Art

  • Seakers Upcycling

Upcycling is a new term for repurposing. Upcycling is the act of taking something no longer in use and giving it a second life and new function. In doing so, the finished product often becomes more practical, valuable and beautiful than what it previously was.

Seakers, with our new location at the entrance to Cape Cod, provides upcycling ideas, inspiration and services for any furniture. Check out our huge showroom or bring in your own furniture for upcyling. Stop by and see what we do here. You will be amazed.

  • Knobs, Knobs, Knobs

    Diane Annen-Benson

    Owner, Operator, Artist

I grew up here on the south shore of Massachusetts so I am a hometown girl. I went to Massasoit and Southern New Hampshire University on a full scholarship for basketball. Directly after graduating, an opportunity arose that I couldn't resist. I was asked to extend my sports career in Europe and was picked up by a team in Switzerland to play semi-professional basketball. I had so many wonderful experiences in Europe. I traveled throughout the world and I had select international jobs, great friends and family. I stayed for 22 years and then I got that itch. I yearned for my own family and the smell of the New England ocean shores once again. I packed my bags or should I say boxes and returned 8 years ago. The last four years we have been working hard at Seakers to make this a # 1 second Hand Furniture and refinishing store. We hope you like it as much as we enjoy being here. I have come full circle and I am blessed. Thank you!

Tamara also designs and makes seaglass jewelry. Crafting each stunning silver necklace and bracelet by hand with seaglass found on beaches in Plymouth, Massachusetts, she makes sure each piece is as unique as the glass gathered from the shore.
